Sam Campagna
With over 25 years in the barbering industry, I’ve built my career around developing barbers and creating strong, effective teams. My journey started with Toni & Guy, where I laid the groundwork for my technical skillset. Over the years, I’ve drawn influence from traditional Italian family barbershops in both the UK and Italy, shaping a style that respects the roots of barbering while embracing modern practicality.
In 2010, I opened my first salon, eventually expanding to three more. I’ve spent years mentoring individuals and guiding teams to build real success from the ground up. My work has been recognized with an Honorary Fellowship from Milton Keynes College for contributions to their barbering program. I've also worked alongside VTCT, The Fellowship, and featured in industry staples like Modern Barber Magazine.
As the former Lead Educator at Wahl UK, I designed and delivered courses that helped future-proof barbershops—training barbers on skills that work on the shop floor, not just the stage. I’ve judged competitions internationally, shared my knowledge on stages across the globe, and remained focused on one thing: helping barbers simplify, refine, and master their craft.
Most recently, I took on Barbone, turning it around to achieve new profit levels and incredible team milestones, including becoming finalists in the London Salon Awards and winning St Albans Retailer of the Year in Hair and Beauty—all in just over a year.
